Forging a New Chapter: Successful Inauguration Ceremony of 2033 Yu House
On 9 May, the 2033 Yu House was founded, marking Coloane Campus’ first‑ever House inauguration.
This ceremony assembled the most prominent guest delegation in the House history of Pui Ching. Representatives from the Pui Ching Alumni Associations of Macau, Hong Kong, and Guangzhou, as well as teachers, students and parents, gathered for this historic milestone.
Caspar, President of Yu House of the Coloane Campus, gave an opening speech on “Honour”. He pledged to carry forward Pui Ching’s founding spirit, explained the meaning of honour with biblical verse, and encouraged members to uphold integrity and school traditions.
Principal Dr Kou Kam Fai unveiled the House flag. Citing Mozi and the Bible, he stated true honour comes from self‑discipline and consistent efforts. He urged students to pursue excellence and guard their reputations, and wished Yu House future success as a proud Pui Ching family.
Lo Chi Hou, President of Macau Pui Ching Alumni Association, delivered congratulations and presented gifts. Following the ceremony, P5 students performed an original musical themed We Are the First. It portrayed their growth from campus learners to global citizens, with AI‑composed soundtracks. The passionate performance earned warm applause.
