The 27th Robofest World Championship was successfully held at Lawrence Technological University (LTU) in Michigan, USA. This year’s event attracted more than 700 elite students from primary to high school across 25 countries worldwide. Robofest is a world class STEAM robotics competition. Since its inception in 1999, it has drawn participation from nearly 30 countries and regions, involving more than 30,000 students, making it one of the most influential student technology competitions globally.
In addition to competing, our students also visited the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Guided tours allowed our students to explore the School of Engineering, including engineering laboratories, maker spaces, machine shops, and club workspaces, providing them with valuable insights and experiences.
At the international competition, our school delivered an excellent performance. Having already won championships in the RoboArts, RoboMed, and RoboParade at the Macau regional selection, three teams advanced to the U.S. finals. Ultimately, our teams achieved second place in both the RoboArts, RoboMed categories at the secondary school level, an inspiring result.
