On December 10th, our S1 student Pang Si Cheng was invited to participate in the Macau education sector’s “Remembering the Past, Moving Forward – Art and Culture Performance,” where she showcased her deep patriotism and love for Macau through Peking opera.
Melody reinterpreted “The Song of the Seven Sons” using the style of Peking opera, showcasing her rich and resonant voice along with exquisite performance skills. This piece blends traditional culture with modern emotions, profoundly expressing the close emotional connection between Macau and the motherland.
The performance not only highlighted the unique charm of Peking opera, but also helped foster a deeper sense of national identity and belonging among teachers and students, while conveying heartfelt wishes for the bright future of both the motherland and Macau. The event aimed to guide participants to remember history, cherish peace, and promote the spirit of patriotism and love for Macau.
