Our students participated in a visit to the University of Cambridge. The program was designed to provide a bridge between secondary education and high-level academic inquiry, allowing to meet world-class Professors and gain firsthand experience in the art of academic research. To prepare for this program, students underwent two months of intensive online training led by Professors and PhD students.
The students gained a much deeper understanding of Cambridge student life and developed essential skills in conducting literature reviews in their area of interest. The visit featured an immersive itinerary where students explored cutting-edge facilities and engaged in high-level academic discourse. This included a visit to Professor Jason Robinson’s science lab and attending master talks delivered by Professor Nicola Clayton in Psychology, Professor Matthew Grimes in Business, and Professor Jason Robinson in Materials Science. Through these interactions, students not only expanded their research capabilities but also gained invaluable inspiration for their future academic journeys.
To conclude their research experience, students were invited to present to a panel of lecturers and their supervisors. Their collective dedication and academic rigor throughout the process made a significant impression on the audience. As a result of outstanding performance, the top 3 students will be honored with letters of recommendation from Cambridge professors.
本校學生參與英國劍橋大學參訪活動，透過是次寶貴機會，學生得以走進世界頂尖學府，親身體驗高等學術研究的氛圍，搭建中學教育與高階學術探索之間的重要橋樑。為充分準備是次交流，學生在出發前接受了為期兩個月的密集線上培訓，由多位教授及博士研究生親自指導。
學生不僅加深對大學生活的認識，亦學習如何在其研究領域中進行文獻回顧，提升學術探究能力。行程包括參觀前沿科研設施及參與高水平學術交流活動。學生更有機會參訪 Professor Jason Robinson 的科學實驗室，出席多場大師講座，包括心理學領域的 Professor Nicola Clayton、商業領域的 Professor Matthew Grimes，以及材料科學領域的 Professor Jason Robinson。
為總結研究經歷，學生受邀向由講師和導師組成的評審小組報告他們的研究成果。他們在整個過程中展現的集體奉獻精神和嚴謹的學術態度給在場的所有人留下了深刻的印象。由於他們出色的表現，排名前三的學生將獲得劍橋大學教授的推薦信。
